Portals of the Past- What Will We Find On The Other Side?

The history of Leslie Gordon Cordingley is darkened by his tragedy and his memory. But as we stepped through the gate of his childhood home in Croydon Park, that darkness lifted in light of his joyful boy-time shenanigans and the deeply-held emotions attached to this place.

From the ‘pocket-handkerchief’ sized front yard that many years ago was the grandest cricket field, to the tree that seems to have moved its roots from where it once stood; many things are both different and the same in this house, just as Les is both the same and a different man from when he last walked these halls.
